We have been designing & manufacturing traditional wooden toys since 1985.
Our workshop and Toy
Shop are at Holly House, Askham, Penrith in Cumbria
within a traditional 17th century bank barn in the centre of this
picturesque village.
Stone walls, beamed ceilings and cobbles - this is not your average Toy Shop, as
our many visitors have discovered. Why not pay us a visit when you are up this
way and bring a 20p coin so you can watch the Toy Works Express chug around the
toy display in the old byre.

Apart from our
own toys, it will stock a wide range of good quality old-fashioned toys that you may
have found difficult to find in the average toy shop. If we don't stock it, we
can usually tell you where to find it or try to order it for you! Plus we even
repair broken toys and restore antique rocking horses, dollshouses, teddies and
dolls.
